Critic Reviews About Storks
This sweet family comedy was written and conceived by smart people who clearly know something about the project of raising children, in all its combined sweetness and bitterness.
Common Sense Media
The jokes fall flat, but the pace is relentless, and those two things seem somehow intertwined, as if the filmmakers had convinced themselves that comedy that whips by fast enough won’t go thud.
It is about all the crazy things people, adult people, will do in the name of their kids. It is a kids’ movie that is really, in the end, about parenthood.
Blame the writing or the voice acting in Storks if you like, but maybe it’s just that birds simply aren’t warm and fuzzy or adorable.
Like so many big-studio cartoons, Storks doesn’t seem to understand that its strengths lie not in the speed or volume of its dialogue, but the energy of its animation.
Even in films otherwise chockfull of uplifting, pro-family messages, parents have to stay vigilant to the very end.

Fortunately for the very young children who will flock to see it, it is a sweet enough confection (albeit as forgettable as a ball of cotton candy).
Perhaps it’s fitting that this story about babies has the attention span and grasp of logic of a newborn.
Big billed birds get top billing in “Storks,” but don’t expect audiences to flock for a sequel.
New York Daily News
Storks is an entertaining family film fueled by a series of powerful messages for everyone in the audience.
